Discover De Wagenschuur
De Wagenschuur is a special extension of Remeker and offers a place where craftsmanship, nature and taste come together. In recent years, Remeker has grown rapidly, and with it the demand for our products. To create space for our dairy cattle at De Groote Voort and to realize a new location for the young cattle, we opted for the Engelenhove farm, a monumental building from 1756 on the Kernhem Estate.
De Wagenschuur has been carefully converted into a place where visitors can not only buy our products, but also experience the real atmosphere of the farm. It is a place to taste, relax and enjoy, where craftsmanship and nature come together and every visit becomes an experience for the whole family.
More than a farm shop
De Wagenschuur is much more than a farm shop. It is a warm place where you can settle down for a good cup of coffee, enjoy our creamy soft ice cream and where children can play freely in the haystack. Between the smell of fresh bread, our own cheeses and the view of the yard, a place is created to really relax. You can taste, discover, meet and, above all, enjoy. De Wagenschuur is an experience for the whole family, a place where the taste and atmosphere of Remeker come together.
In De Wagenschuur you will find an extensive selection of regional products from Remeker and partners. Think of our raw milk cheeses, ghee, cheese fondue and various types of meat from our Jersey cows. We also offer bread from JorisBrood, organic eggs and syrup and fruit toppings from Trés Jolie. Everything is selected and prepared with care and craftsmanship.
Experience the atmosphere
De Wagenschuur is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Here you can taste products, buy them and experience the atmosphere of a real farm. A visit to De Wagenschuur is an opportunity to experience the essence of Remeker: from soil to cow, from milk to cheese, and from craftsmanship to experience.
Remeker Soft Ice Cream
One of the highlights of De Wagenschuur is our newest product: Remeker soft ice cream. In collaboration with an ice cream master, we developed a recipe specially tailored to our creamy Jersey milk. The result is a full, soft and creamy soft ice cream as soft ice cream is meant to be. Visitors are welcome to come and taste for themselves and experience how our milk is transformed into a delicious artisanal ice cream product.
