Our raw milk natural rind cheeses

At Remeker, we make our raw milk natural rind cheeses exclusively from the milk of our own Jersey cows, which have been kept antibiotic-free since 2004. We follow a completely natural chain: the cows graze on herb-rich meadows, we use little brine (less than two days), which keeps the salt content low, and we smear the rind with our own ghee during ripening.

Our range includes four ages: from the fresh “Pril” (2–3 months), via the full-bodied “Ryp” (7–8 months), the intense “Olde Remeker” (13 months) to the complex “Pracht” (18 months). The result is a cheese with character: a beautiful living rind, rich flavor development, mineral-rich milk in combination with craftsmanship. Each cheese tells the story of soil, animal, and maker.
